Bundelkhand is full of places which can beat any of the popular choices any day. You just need to know them. Also don’t forget to recommend it to your relatives and friends about these places. Read along.  

Orchha Palace and Convention Hotel

If budget is not a big concern for you then the first option in this list is this regal palace cum hotel. This is a luxurious experience hotel with sprawling lawn and beautiful architecture, which will make a great backdrop for your pictures. 

It also has a great scenic view of the Betwa river and facades which makes it visually stunning place to shoot at. 

Nearest airports to Orchha is 120 Kms i.e Gwalior or Khajuraho airport which is 128 Kms. Orchha is 15 kms from Jhansi.  

Khajuraho 

Khajuraho has been explored by photographers all over the world but has remained under-appreciated for its wedding photography offering.  It is a beautiful location which is flocked by tourists from all over the world to witness the intricate architecture and sculptures. 

Morning and evening time which provide a confluence of natural and artificial lighting will bring the great creativity of the photographers out and forth. 

There are a number of good hotels in nearby region. Jhansi is located at a distance of 170 Kms. You may choose to stay in Khajuraho or may come to Jhansi. 

Datia 

Datia is a hidden gem when it comes to wedding photography destinations. It is well preserved Bundela heritage site which is present in close proximity with Jhansi. 

It is an architectural marvel with chhatris and paintings to make for a great photography destination. 

It is only 30 Kms from Jhansi. So you can stay in Jhansi and drive to Datia for the shoot and get back within the same day. 

Gwalior 

Gwalior hosts one of the most popular heritage sites like Gwalior fort and Jai Vilas Palace. This place will prove to be the best choice for a wedding photoshoot as it has everything to be considered. 

If you want a sunrise or a sunset picture to be part of your album you may visit the Sun Temple which is near Gwalior. 

It also has a natural site option like Chambal wildlife sanctuary. Or you may also like to visit the famous Chausath Yogini temple 

Gwalior has many places to stay.  As it also flaunts an airport you may even get back soon for your other preparations.

Barua Sagar Lake 

This is a scenic lake that lies about 25 km from Jhansi. The lake is surrounded by hills and forests, which can provide a natural and serene setting for your photos.

You can also visit the nearby Barua Sagar Fort, which is a 17th-century fort that overlooks the lake. The fort has a splendid view of the sunrise and sunset, which can make your photos more appealing.
