UP BOARD: Answers evaluation completed, Students now waits for results

Apr 02, 2024

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) successfully completed the evaluation of answer booklets for high school and intermediate examinations today, March 31, 2024, at three assessment centers in the metropolitan area. During the 14-day period, a total of 227,273 answer booklets were checked, including 139,000 high school and 87,954 intermediate answer booklets. Over 900 teachers contributed to this significant task.

The evaluation of high school answer booklets took place at Hafiz Siddiqui National Inter College, while the assessment of intermediate answer booklets occurred at Government Inter College and Suraj Prasad Government Girls Inter College. District Education Inspector Rajesh Kumar Singh confirmed that the evaluation process for both high school and intermediate levels has been completed today, Sunday.

This time, the allocation of answer booklets was lower:

Interestingly, the number of answer booklets allocated by the UP Board in Jhansi district was lower compared to previous years. For high school, 153,319 booklets were allocated, and for intermediate, 95,000 booklets were assigned. However, in reality, only 139,319 high school and 87,954 intermediate answer booklets were sent. Initially, 914 teachers participated in the task, but this number increased to around 700 later. If the UP Board had sent the answer booklets according to the allocation, there might have been a delay in the evaluation process.

Now, everyone is eagerly awaiting the results after the completion of answer booklet checking. The announcement of the result date by the UP Board is still pending.
