The court has sentenced life imprisonment to Jitendra Parihar, who had murdered a young man by stabbing him in Jhansi three years ago. A fine of Rs 10,000 has been imposed on him. If the fine is not paid, it will be recovered from his property. This important decision was given by Special Judge Scheduled Caste/Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act Shaktiputra Tomar on Saturday. The accused Jitendra Parihar, son of Gopichand, is a resident of Hansari of Premnagar police station area.
Brother in law had filed a case
Assistant District Government Advocate Santosh Kumar Dohre said that Bijauli resident Vrindavan Sahu had lodged a report at Premnagar police station. In which it was told that on October 10, 2020, he and his brother-in-law Gopal Sahu were sitting outside their house. Then Hansari resident Jitendra Parihar came. He was under the influence of alcohol. As soon as he arrived, he started abusing and assaulting Gopal Sahu.
He intervened, but then Jitendra Parihar took out a knife and attacked Gopal Sahu, due to which he was seriously injured. He was immediately brought to the medical college. Here the doctors declared him dead. The police had registered a case and arrested the accused. Later a charge sheet was filed against him in the court. After hearing the entire case, the court convicted the accused Jitendra Parihar and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
